Puerto Banús opened in May 1970 and has berths for 915 boats, with a beach on each side of the marina. Salvador Dalí's rhinoceros sculpture, placed in 2004, and the 26-metre bronze and copper statue La Victoria, unveiled in 1994, stand among its landmarks.
