Cookies policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how vertexspain.com uses cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with Article 22 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE).
1. Who is responsible
Dmitry Mateshin, self-employed (autónomo), trading as The House of Vertex — NIF Y3898567N, Urbanización Capanes del Golf, Río Real 2C, 29679 Benahavís (Málaga), España. Email: dm@vertexspain.com.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. They can be used, for example, to remember your choices or to track your visits.
3. Cookies on this Website
We do not use cookies for profiling or advertising. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set a small technical cookie to protect the Website against automated traffic (for example __cf_bm). It is strictly necessary for security, does not follow you across websites and expires within 30 minutes, so it does not need your consent.
With your consent, we also use analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 (see section 4). When you first visit the Website, a banner asks you to accept or decline them. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (under the name vertex-cookie-consent), so that we do not ask again on every page.
4. Analytics
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, does not store anything in your browser, and does not follow you from one website to another. It gives us aggregate figures, such as which pages are visited and from which countries or types of device.
If you click Accept, we also use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited. It measures how the Website is used: which pages are viewed and in what order, how long a visit lasts, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or a link), and general information about your device, browser and approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address). We use these figures only to understand and improve the Website. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_N8BQ0HWRBM — keeps the state of the current visit. Expires after 2 years.
Google Analytics runs only after you accept. Until then, and if you click Decline, the Website does not load any Google script and no data is sent to Google. We use Google's Consent Mode, with advertising signals always switched off: your data is not used for advertising or personalised ads. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards required by data protection law. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
5. Other websites
The Website links to third-party websites, for example restaurants or official guides mentioned in articles. Those sites may use their own cookies, which are governed by their own policies.
6. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page: it opens the banner again, where you can accept or decline. If you decline after accepting earlier, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are removed from your browser. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Changes and contact
If we start to use other cookies that need your consent, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. For questions, write to dm@vertexspain.com. More on how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
