New Development in Mijas

The development is made up of villas with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms each, with built areas of 375–434 m² and private terraces measuring 31–36 m². Plots measure 724–773 m², giving each villa a private garden and a covered terrace, plus a solarium above and a basement below.

Inside, homes come with fitted wardrobes, ensuite bathrooms, double glazing, hot and cold air conditioning and a lift connecting the floors. Outside, each villa has private parking, an entry phone and a private pool, set against views of sea, golf, garden and courtyard.

Mijas Pueblo sits on a hillside about 430 metres above the sea, a whitewashed village whose Arab-origin street plan is protected as a Conjunto Histórico-Artístico. The oval bullring, the church of the Inmaculada Concepción and the remains of the old wall, with its viewpoints, all lie within the old centre. Cut into the rock in the 17th century, the cave sanctuary of the Virgen de la Peña is dedicated to the village's patron saint, and donkey taxis still carry visitors through the streets.

Down at the coast, Mijas Costa gathers Calahonda, Riviera and La Cala de Mijas along about 12 km of shoreline. La Cala, a fishing village by tradition, has a former watchtower that now serves as an interpretation centre, and the Senda Litoral invites walkers and cyclists to follow the sea. The municipality records around 2,920 hours of sunshine a year and less than 600 mm of rain.

The calendar is led by the Feria de Mijas on 8 September, in honour of the Virgen de la Peña, with further ferias in Las Lagunas at the end of June and in La Cala at the end of July.
